Located at the gateway to the Hunter Valley Vineyards, the Peterson House Cellar Door is a "must see" for everyone. Our team are all masters of everything that Bubbles and will provide you with both a fun and informative tasting.
Our Cellar Door provides a unique and exciting experience with the hussle and bustle of guests, fun music, bubbles falling from the ceiling and colours to delight the senses. From the young, to the young at heart there is something here for everyone.
A new addition to our Cellar Door is the Oyster Bar which is located on our deck. This is a fantastic place for guests to relax, recharge and indulge in Champagne and Oysters while overlooking the vineyards and pond.
The Cellar Door is open for group tastings of all sizes, however we do ask for a reservation for groups of 8 or more guests.
Group tastings for 8 or more people are $5.00pp and include your very own Bubble expert and an accompaniment of cheese and biscuits.

* Upon receiving your Tasting request our Club Co-ordinator will contact you via email to confirm your booking. Please note that we will endeavour to fulfil your request however at times we may have no vacancies. All requests must be made 5 days prior to the date.

Peterson House is unique to the Hunter Valley, specialising in premium sparkling wines made by traditional methodè champenoise. Our wines are mainly available at our Cellar Door facility in the Hunter Valley, and we now produce sparkling wine for approximately 100 other wineries on a contract basis.
Peterson House hosts a series of wine styles to suit the discerning drinker. Our sparkling range consists of easy drinking “Blush” through to the premium blends that we all enjoy. It is not our policy to market commercially through large chain liquor stores, as we wish to retain a relative exclusivity to our label. Presently, we only supply our wines to selected high quality restaurants and independent retail outlets.
With the current growth in the sparkling wine market, and the demand for our product range, it is now our intention to increase our presence in the greater Hunter area, and we are now approaching selected restaurants and retail outlets who we believe, have the appropriate food and clientele that will appreciate our wines.
We offer wines that complement your wine lists and consumer preferences, and importantly, are not widely available in many other on and off-premise outlets.
